Donor and Students

William Bruce Minteer

Abstract

"I profess to learn and to teach anatomy not from books but from dissections, not from the tenets of Philosophers but from the fabric of Nature." - William Harvey, a pioneer in anatomical discovery.

Paper mâché with acrylic finish on cardboard base. Anatomical donors give more than their bodies to educate the future healthcare providers of America. With open arms the donor teaches two students’ empathy and respect, showing each student true humanity. Donor and students: a reverent, sacred bond.
