Abstract

The movement for racial justice is ongoing and was reignited following the horrific and widely publicized murder of George Floyd. This viewpoint article from a Georgetown University School of Medicine student discusses how their free clinic board responded to the issue of systemic racial injustice against Black Americans, grappled with the ways that the clinic may have ignored or perpetuated racial inequities, and how the group ultimately forged a new path forward.
