This publication established\u00a0the MSPress as an active international publishing group.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.themspress.org\/blog\/letterfromeditor\/\" target=\"_blank\">The first MSPress piece published<\/a> was posted via our blog on March 30<sup>th<\/sup>, 2014, kick-starting the scholarly expression of medical students worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, the MSPress Blog has grown tremendously. Beginning with\u00a0two medical students, we are now a team of over 80 editors, writers, and reviewers. What started as a collaboration between the University of Rochester SOM and University of Central Florida COM, now also includes schools such as: Johns Hopkins, Brown, Cardiff (UK), Case Western, Cornell, Georgetown, and the University of Zagreb and University of Split (Croatia).<\/p>\n<p>Our platform has enabled medical students from across the world to collaborate and express their talents, experiences, and passions in a broad array of fantastic publications. A few MSPress Blog pieces that exemplify our diverse works include: \u00a0Stephanie Wang\u2019s reflective \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.themspress.org\/blog\/poem-about-pain\/\" target=\"_blank\">Poem about Pain<\/a>\u201d, and\u00a0Gunjan Sharma&#8217;s plea for more humanity in dealing with patients in &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.themspress.org\/blog\/dear-doctor\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dear Doctor<\/a>&#8220;,\u00a0Aryan Sarparast\u2019s exuberant and perceptive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themspress.org\/blog\/imposter-syndrome-slam-poetry\/\" target=\"_blank\">slam poetry video on imposter syndrome<\/a>, and Tony Sun&#8217;s pieces drawing parallels between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themspress.org\/blog\/author\/tonysun\/\" target=\"_blank\">Moby Dick and medical school<\/a><strong>.<\/strong> The quality of the MSPress\u00a0Blog is in a large part due to the dedication and passionate work of Dr. Marija Kusulja, The MSPress Blog Associate Editor. Thanks to Dr. Kusulja\u00a0and the rest of our team, our posts are reaching an ever expanding audience!<\/p>\n<p>We thank you for your continued support as a member of the MSPress community.
