Abstract

During the past few years, University of Texas, Southwestern (UTSW) School of Medicine has adapted an 18-month pre-clerkship curriculum. This introduces constraints on manager role handoff between medical student cohorts, and traditionally has been a cause of frequent error in management of The Monday Clinic (TMC). By implementing a more robust training program and web how-to resource, it is hoped that these errors related to role handoff are decreased.
